Barring a big change in price trends, gasoline will surely reach or exceed $4 a gallon in the Puget Sound area before the summer of 2008 is done. We want to know how this might affect your household finances and/or your driving habits. Specifically:

- If fuel prices reach $4, will you have to cutback on other necessities, on other extras, or not at all?

- Will that price level make you try transit options, carpool or drive a more efficient vehicle? Will you make no change, or will you drive less overall?

Feel free to add any other thoughts or comments you may have on gas prices as well. Thanks. Some comments may appear in a story scheduled for Jan. 13’s Money section.
