Help Keep Bears Wild

Bears are always seeking food. We need to remember that a FED BEAR IS A DEAD BEAR.

It’s a bit tough around here, with the river flowing and salmon right within reach for a bear, fruit trees in yards, blackberry bushes etc; but there are some ideas in this small flier that will help you.

We had a lot of apples on the ground in the back of our home. One morning my wife went out and there was only one left! We also bungee our garbage can to keep animals out of it, but there are still huge bit marks (right through the container) from bears trying to get into it.
