It’s Over?

Index in November can hold many surprises. The first storm of the season has subsided (as of this moment it is still raining, albeit lightly, that is, for the mountains).

I personally do not see any threat of flooding but this storm was a good scare and it serves as a reminder to those living on the river, be prepared for anything!

EmergencyEmail.org is pretty handy. They inform you of recalls on food(s), storms and pretty much anything that can affect the general population. They emailed me hours before anything was on the news, and informed me that flooding was a possibility. They also keep you updated (maybe a bit too much some time) but they are a handy tool to keep in your archives. They have never spammed me and I only get emails during serious situations (even homeland security issues). Give them a try.
