New Newsletter Format

The program that we were using for our Newsletter and News As It Happens was getting a big sluggish.  We were disappointed as it is a GREAT program however, I am not a patient person when it comes to spending hours upon hours on a program that worked great for over a year and suddenly does not like me.   Reading through forums turned up the same results from other users with a couple of fixes here and there.  It was a free program and we loved it, BUT we must move on.  If you ever need a robust program we would recommend it…PHPList.

So, on to the meat of the matter.  Thanks to our Supporters aka Advertisers, we could afford to drop a few bucks into a program that seems as though it may work for us and you.  The only drawback I have found is we can either send TEXT formatted or HTML formatted.  Previously we gave you a choice.  Now it is just HTML.  It’s better anyway IMHO.

Subscribing is pretty much the same and you can do so in the side bar right here or click on the link in the header of the blog.  You will receive a confirmation email for EACH item you subscribe to.

We would like to thank those that have offered us the use of their server and software for free to produce our Newsletter(s).  Maybe in the future but not right now.  We have under 75 subscribers thus far.  When we hit the 200-300 mark, if the offer still stands, we will take you up on it.
