Sultan Food Bank Needs Your Help

My name is Amy Lazenby and I am a resident of Index. I am also the
Office Manager at the Sultan Food Bank. Many residents from Index go
to the Sultan Food Bank to receive supplemental food for their
families. We are the only food bank in the East Sky Valley. We service
Sultan, Startup, Gold Bar, Index, Grotto, Baring, and Skykomish.
Donations have been slowing down for the past few months, and are
almost down to nil lately. I have asked Index Elementary School to
accept donations and I will take them to the food bank on a weekly
basis. Please encourage the subscribers of the newsletter and News as
It Happens to consider dropping off a donation of non-perishable food
items or personal items (toilet paper, diapers, baby wipes, soap,
etc.) at the school.
