Photos: Snow as Of This Morning, Christmas Day

An email from Barb in Seattle says:

Hi Ed – we’re in Seattle and had 10″ here at north Lk. Union.  Our bigger question is how much snow is currently on the ground in Index?  We’re trying to get there to check on things, but can’t even get out of our street yet here in Seattle.  Any pictures you can post on the blog of the snow level?  Thanks, Barb

It’s a done deal Barb but STAY HOME.  It’s pretty bad here from Index Galena to the town.

Here are a few shots of the snow on our deck as of this morning.  They are not spectacular photos however.  One of our cars was buried and we mean BURIED yesterday so we dug it out and guess what.  It’s buried again this morning.

As of this writing, it is still snowing a bit.  We measured in the yard yesterday and it was 40+ inches.  We are at about 4′ or better now.  The icicles are 4-5′ long and 4-5″ around.

Hopefully it is about over.
