TOWN OF INDEX BLOCK WATCH MEETING

IN THE OLD FIRE HALL

AGENDA: Introduce Block Watch captains and discuss on-going criminal activity in the area.

PROGRAM: Landscaping hints that might keep a criminal from singling out your house.

Everyone is invited to attend.

Refreshments will be served.

Block Watch Meeting Scheduled

The next Block Watch Meeting is scheduled for September for September 8, 2010 at 7 pm at the Old Fire Hall in the Town of Index.

The Sheriff will be there to discuss how vegetation and plants can work with your or against you in your yard to deter burglars.

Upcoming Block Watch Meeting Clarification

Just a short clarification.

I some time send News as It Happens for other people within the town.

The previous News as It Happens that was sent out, the one about the Block Watch Meeting, was sent out as it was relayed to me.

Please don’t take it personal when something like the following comes to you:

“This meeting is only for people living in the town and does not include Skyko 1 or surrounding areas.”

I apologize if there is confusion on this note. “I did not set the rules” for this meeting. I’m just the messenger.

PS – I am sure if you attend, there will not be an issue. This meeting is to assign block captains within the town is my understanding.

Block Watch Meeting

A Block Watch meeting is scheduled for August 3, 2010 at 7 PM at the old fire hall in Index.

At this first meeting, Etta would like to appoint block watch captains and put together a phone tree so we can get necessary information out.

After the meeting those interested, will take a stroll around town to celebrate The Nation Night Out.

This meeting is only for people living in the town and does not include Skyko 1 or surrounding areas.

Block Watch Meeting

A Block Watch Meeting will be held on Monday, June 14th, 2010. The meeting will be held by the Sheriff’s Department and it is well worthwhile to attend.

Time: 5:30 PM
Location: Index Fire Department #28.

There will be food and you can provide a dish if you so desire.
