Cougar Spotting

A cougar has been reported to be in the area. It left evidence at Wave-Trec Rescue which is just across the bridge from town on the Index Galena Road. Chris Jonason, owner of Wave-Trec, says “He ate one of my turkey’s”.

Cougar Sighting

There has been a cougar sighting in town on The Crescent Trail.  For those not familiar with the trail, it runs parallel to the railroad tracks off of Index Avenue.

You may want to keep your pet(s) in the house for a day or two.

It must be the year for sightings.  There were bear at Skyko 1 last week.  I “think” they got that one.

Normally bear are only around as winter begins to set in.  They go to the river for fishing before hibernation.
