Post Masters Last Day

Tomorrow, August 6, 2010, is our Post Masters last day serving Index, Wa.

Dana Starfire has been a huge part of many peoples lives over the past 2-3 years. She has volunteered for many projects and has made many friends.

G’bye Dana and good luck with your new position as Post Master on Waldron Island. We are going to miss you.

Photos: Our New Postmaster – Dana Starfire

Today, promptly at 11:11am, Dana Starfire was sworn in (by Les Stewart, manager of Post Office Operations, Seattle, WA) as the new Postmaster of Index, Wa.

Our Mayor Bruce Albert, presented Dana with a Centennial Post Card that marked the 100 year anniversary of Index, a gift to cherish.

A great time was had by all and there was quite a good turnout.  Posted below are a few snapshots taken during and after the ceremony.
