Friends of Heybrook Ridge Upcoming Elections

Friends of Heybrook Ridge announces upcoming elections for three of its Board positions, as well as the offices of President and Vice President. The local nonprofit group is seeking leaders and participants in developing an educational/recreational forest in our community. Friends of Heybrook Ridge recently raised over $600K to purchase Heybrook Ridge, and the ridge is now Snohomish County’s newest park. We are working in partnership with Snohomish County as we plan trails and public amenities to enhance the property. Nominations will be proposed at our next meeting on January 6, 2009, in the Index Fire Hall at 7:00 p.m. We invite you to participate in this grassroots community effort.
