Dana Starfire – The new Postmaster of Index will be sworn in on 10-10-08 at 11:11am.  Dana is offering carrot cake, fruit and veggies and a drawing for anyone who buys a book of stamps that day. Open to the community. Overflow will be next door at the old fire hall. Hope to see you there!

Also, rumor has it that on 10-11-08 Ernie, (at the Fire Department) is having a hot dog BBQ (I am sure there will be more).  This is unconfirmed but you will see him around town.  Just ask.
