Wreck derails freight car, blocks Burlington Northern Santa Fe route near Stanwood

See story below this comment:  We heard from a relatively reliable source from the Sultan Fire Department YESTERDAY, that the pick-up truck involved in this wreck was “rigged”.  It had fuel in the back of it and was in gear AND was wired to start remotely and run in a straight line?

Our questions are:  Why run in a straight line?  Was this a TEST by terrorists or was it an attempt by terrorists to disrupt the upcoming Winter Olympics in Vancouver?  AND FINALLY, why was this not reported in the NEWS?????

STANWOOD — Investigators believe someone deliberately crashed a stolen pickup into a moving freight train, causing an empty rail car to derail early Thursday near Stanwood.

The driver remains at large, and it’s unclear how the driver aimed the truck at the train and escaped, officials said.

“This one mystifies all of us,” Burlington Northern Santa Fe spokesman Gus Melonas said. “We’re not ruling anything out at this point.”
